Question: is an erection mandatory for the pc exercises, or can they be done semi erect or flacid
Answer: With the exception of the Towel Raise, you can do them flaccid (unless otherwise specified).
Question: I just started the program last week. I don't have a good a idea of a set routine to follow every day, week by week. The website gives a ton of different exercises, but you can't expect me to do all of them. How much time are you suppose to put in to this. Can I get away with spending 15-20 a day in the shower or in the bathroom? What would be the best routine to start out with. I'm 5 1/2" right now. I'm looking to get atleast another inch and develop more hardness and stamina. What do you suggest?
Answer: Start in the basic routines section of the "Penile Fitness Guide". If you want to gain, you'll make the time for it.
Question: Big Al, I am a beginner and have not even done the program yet. is jelqing enough to gain length?...also what about stretchmarks if I gain size...would not want stretchmarks
Answer: Jelqing may be enough, but you'll probably need to do another basic stretch like the Oriental Massage to maximize your gains. Stretchmarks can be taken care of with a good Vitamin E cream. Also, try not pulling on the skin so much- focus on gripping the body of the penis itself.
Question: are the basic penis enlargement exercises for beginners(Warm up, jelq, oriental massage,) enough to gain length and size? How long should these exercises be done before adding more exercises if you are a beginner?
Answer: Yes, they'll help you gain size. Although they are more of a "primer" for the more advanced routines, the basic routines give some men immediate results.
Do the basic routines for about 6-8 weeks.

What you think of a routine that is done every other day constantly with no two day break as opposed to the 5 days on, 2 days off? This would mean a total of 16 sessions/month rather than 20 with the normal routine.
Would development be slower due to the reduced number of sessions?
Doing it on alternate days would mean that things would have 48 hours to heal, but maybe in order to make extra progress, does PE require five days on the trot?
It's just that I have a rather busy first half of the week, and it's difficult to slot in a session. If my routine isn't recommended, would it be possible to do just 4 days on, with 3 days off? Would I need to do a longer workout in order to maintain good progress?
Just another thing, I have had some bleeding at the end of my foreskin - there is a small bubble that is a little bit sore, but it doesn't seem to be going down. Gripping my foreskin tightly whilst doing the stretches seems to have done it. Apart form that everything else seems to be in order.

BA: Depends- if you make no gains but your penis is very sore, you're not doing enough (intensity-wise, volume-wise, and/or frequency-wise). The reverse applies if you're feeling no soreness. You're going to have to balance things out a bit with your intensity/volume levels, but you should be able to gain on an every other day routine.

Answer: To answer your question, the exercises will still work. You'll just have to make sure that you're not pulling your foreskin as you're doing the exercises.
Question: with the weight hang using the master lock, how often should it be done, and for how long.
Answer: If you're PEing intensely, you'll only want to hang a few hours 2 times a week. Doing more will cut into your recovery abilities.
Question: Hey Big Al,
I wanted to query you about the best lengthening exercises after you
recently said manual stretching was the best due to the amount of
force that can be exerted on the penis. But now you've sent a post
about traction, which is what I think is the best, from a scientific
standpoint. Whether it is traction to elongate the spine, or braces
to correct teeth, traction has been used for two reasons: First, to
change a body part slowly for the reason of not causing permanent
damage, and secondly to allow the body to adjust to that change. I am
a musician, and if someone has a piano that hasn't been tuned in 15
years, the tuner will not try to bring it to tune right away, because
the piano will immediately fall out of tune. Instead it takes 2 or 3
tunings for the piano to Adjust to the change. This seems to be the
same with manual penis stretching(for me). The only thing I
accomplish from aggresive stretching is a slightly sore penis and then
it goes back to its shriveled, flaccid state. But with the Jes
Extender I can Feel a stretch, my penis hangs longer, and then I begin
manual stretching once my penis feels pliable. I may be wrong when it
comes to PE, but I'd like to hear your comments in regards to Manual
vs. Traction stretching.

Answer: I believe that both methods have their places, but IMO, manual exercises are still superior. Let's liken the ligaments to a spring. If you've ever taken basic physics and hung a weight off of a spring. you'll notice that the heavier weight makes the spring stretch farther. Add a little bounce to the weight and the spring stretches farther still. This means that with the short, intense bursts of tension used in manual stretching, you'll be able to gain more in less time. That doesn't mean that light, long periods of stretching won't work. Using the spring analogy again, a light weight hung at the end of a spring will usually deform it over time and cause it to stretch (permanently) as well.
Of course, ligaments aren't springs, but the principles behind the stretching them is pretty much the same. There are other factors to consider such as the strengthening of the ligaments in both processes (I believe manual stretching to be superior in this area as well), the golgi tendon reflex (which is also another reason that manual stretching may strengthen the ligs more), as well as overall length gains in months with one method vs. the other.
I would love to see an experiment in which untrained but fit male identical twins (genetically identical to rule out the possibility of one of the subjects possessing superior adaptative responses) are put through two different PE regimens- one using manual techniques and the other using a stretching device. Although this wouldn't be fool-proof, it'll bring us closer to knowing just which method is truly "superior".
In ending, you need to use the method that you like most. A lot of men dislike manual stretching because of the effort involved. For men like that, a stretcher is the perfect solution.

Question: hey big al, how are u? well im using viacyn for enlargement, along with maca, l-arginine, and i do jelqs with a device called the power jelq. when i jelq i do 4 sets of 150 reps, each rep lasts 1-2 seconds in the shower. the thing is my penis is hard but it doesnt stay erect, but semi erect, so i stop jelqing and think about girls , while massaging my penis to make my penis hard then continue jelqing. is this good? and another thing i do to increase girth is grab at base, move up inch on an erect penis, and hold or i hold and with other hand squeeze in 3 or 4 places to increase blood flow. i do this 10 times, each time i hold for 30 seconds. is this good.
Answer: For best results (and for safety), your penis should be in a semi-erect state for your jelqs.

I have a problem, and I can,t get answere for it. I have a blood flow problem in my penis. I have erection, but only a semi, and I know the blood is flowing back, and I can,t penetrate.
