In the financial world there is a whisper that nothing can make you look richer than wealth itself. But that does not mean that if you are not part of the Top 100 you can not look like you aren’t. You have a chance to spin in the world of VIP, if you follow the 11 rules below.
1. You don’t have to pay to be informed!
Start your day by reading newspapers, especially financial ones, in an ultra-elegant cafe. To really be in "top" you should have on your table "Forbes" and "Smart Money," and if the price of such a subscription seems too big, you can borrow them from the library. If you want to chat with your rich neighbor from the table, always talk about topics such as navigation, French cuisine and golf.
2. Watch the details!
Let's be honest: you can wear a suit of a few thousand dollars, but if your teeth are kind of ... tired, no one will take you seriously. Go to the dentist, whiten your teeth, and make sure your breath is always fresh. A pleasant smile along with trimmed nails will open many doors.
3. Dress up for... success. Quality vs. amount!
It is very easy to buy from obscure shops, on sale, impressive quantities of shirts and shoes. But investing in one Armani or Hugo Boss suit will be invaluable.
4. Take your money out!
Multi-millionaires never "carry" a wallet after them and so should you. Drop it and adopt a gold clam in which you catch the money, the largest bill being on top! Or simply use only credit cards.
5. Accessories?
Phone, the keys to the car, the bottles opener should be of high quality, extravagant, or even from a collection.
6. Remember your manners!
To be a part of the good world means to be always polite, not to forget to say "please" and "thank you", even if you think that you own everything.
7. Money
If you have money, that does not mean you talk about them too. Never cry about the exaggerated price of some luxury items and ignore the prices displayed on the labels of products.
8. Change your name
It is known that the excessively rich persons have changed their names and have adopted all kinds of titles. Perhaps it is more difficult, but it is worth it!
9. Create a "false" past!
You can tell everybody that you descend from a rich and famous family, but you do not want to brag with it.
10. You will certainly be noticed!
If not you cannot afford to stay at Hilton, that does not mean that you can not be seen in the hotel lobby. You can read a newspaper, drink coffee and smoke a cigar.
11. Wear a Rolex!
It is amazing the effect that such a watch can have. If you do not afford it, buy a perfect replica of a known model. Nobody will know!
